Updates :)

So I haven't written on this in a VERY long time, but it just occurred to me that I should update! And a loooot has happened recently, so here goes :)

If you're wondering how the casting call I was so nervous about in my last post went, it went very well! I did the show and fell in freakin' love with doing runway.

Can you find me in that picture? Lol ;) Anyway. So after that show I did a few more, including a big one for Marialia at Project Ethos during LA Fashion Week! It was so much fun. This modeling thing is pretty awesome- you make a lot of friends and have a lot of fun.

But it's definitely hard work too!!! At the Project Ethos fashion show, I spent twelve hours back stage. Call time was noon, and we didn't walk until 11:30 pm. I left at midnight. I honestly thought I was going to die. But it was worth every minute. If you wanna watch the video, here you go.

I've done several photo shoots, including one with min syster <3 for a designer called Bear Cat LA. Everyone should check her out by the way, because the clothes are awesome! Hit up this site. And I have another one today with an amazing photographer, and I'm pretty psyched :)

So yeah, that's pretty much everything! I'll try to post more here. Lateeeee!

Walk, Walk, Fashion Baby, Work It, Move That Bitch, Crazy.

I've been slacking off with the modeling thing lately. I've been wanting to get some paid work, rather than just TF*. It was good practice, but now I feel like I have enough of a grip on the whole posing business that I'm not just standing in front of the camera hoping that whatever I do looks okay. It's no longer just guessing, now I'm working, and I want to get a paid job.
But something I haven't done yet is runway- I didn't even think I was tall or thin enough to do it! But I'm gonna try on Friday. I'm going to my first casting call for a lingerie fashion show in LA, and I'm not gonna lie here- I AM FREAKIN' NERVOUS. I've never had to try to get hired for something. By the time I show up to a shoot, the photographer has already expressed interest in working with me. I have a pretty thick skin, so I'm not worried about rejection or criticism or anything like that...in fact, I don't know what I'm worried about! But I still am. But more than that, I'm excited. I've always wanted to do runway- and especially lingerie runway- so this might be incredible. Especially because the show is supposed to take place on a rooftop of some chic lounge in downtown LA- can you say badass??
So I've been practicing my walk and working my muscles a bit. Everyone wish me luck!

;)
